Sam Tolchard is out for an elusive gold as he makes his fourth Commonwealth Games appearance.
Tolchard has medalled at each of the three Games since making his Team England debut at Glasgow 2014, and now returns to looking to complete the set.
The Devon bowler won bronze at Glasgow 2014 and Gold Coast 2018, before scooping a pairs silver and a fours bronze at Birmingham 2022.
Tolchard, whose sister Sophie has also previously represented Team England, boasts an impressive nine national titles as well as gold at the 2025 Bowls World Cup.
Tolchard hails from an impressive sporting family, with his uncle Roger a Test cricketer, father Ray a first-class cricket umpire and another uncle Jeffrey a footballer for Torquay United and Exeter City.
